Tennis Elbow

I suffered with pain in my left elbow (Epicondylitis AKA Tennis Elbow) for about two months before I came to see Dr Yan. I don't know what caused it, but it may have been heavy lifting and the ageing process. As an Orthotist, I supply braces for this kind of condition so of course I fitted myself with one. it helped a lot and enabled me to carry on with my day to day activities and my work. however, it wasn't resolving the problem.

After seeing all the testimonies in the window of Dr Yan's clinic and reading that she treated skeletomuscular problems, I decided to give it a go. I had five treatments of acupuncture and deep tissue massage over four weeks and the pain is 95% gone. it was the first time I had tried acupuncture and was surprised how little it hurt. I could hardly tell the needles were being inserted. each time I would lie in the dark for about twenty minutes with a heater warming the needles (very relaxing) and sometimes electric currents were applied to the needles. after that I had the deep tissue massage, which was painful but I knew Dr Yan was getting right into the source of the problem. I still wear a brace for the times I am doing heavy work to prevent a reoccurrence .

Because of the excellent results I experienced, I now recommend Dr Yan to my patients.
